It all started in 1893 at the Chicago World Fair where the Korbel Brothers introduced their Brandy to the United States and found it to shine bright amongst the German immigrants from Wisconsin. Fast forward to World War II, finding good spirits was hard to come by due to grain being shipped to Europe and the frontlines. Luckily for Wisconsin tavern owners they were able to acquire 30,000 barrels of their beloved Korbel Brandy and the WISCONSIN OLD FASHIONED WAS BORN.
